The TX500 WIRELESS DETECTORS are battery operated (PP 3 type) and have the same appearance as their GX200 hard wired low voltage counterparts.
A built in light sensor with variable adjuster stops the TX500 from working during daylight hours. If day time operation is required, then simply turn the light sensor adjuster fully anti-clockwise.
The TX500 transmitter is limited to 1mW power output for general use giving about 100M range and 10mW for industrial use giving up to 350M range. The range may be restricted around premises where there are objects, i.e., walls, metal structures, trees etc.
The detector's signal to the RX300, RX400 or special new RX16 Receiver is in the form of secure specially designated codes.
The TX500 has been DTI approved and is licence exempt.
